Anarchy Online and the recent headlines

I keep debating where to start on this topic, it isn't the type of topic I normally blog about. Most likely due to the fact that this situation is kinda a shocker to us all in some way or another.

We all know times are tough in real life. The economy is a crazy scary place. So it shouldn't be a shocker that Funcom has had it's issues. I honestly think Funcom isn't as bad off as it could be though, considering the economic crisis.

Yes some amazing people are leaving the Funcom/AO team. I don't think it's such a good idea to fear the end is near. I honestly think everyone should stop being so selfish and put themselves in the shoes of a Funcom employee. They get so much negativity thrown at them daily, yet it is them that keep the games up and running strong. So even though some are leaving, there is still people working on the games. Show them some love, they deserve it.

I feel it is best to wish the amazing people who are leaving the team, the best of luck in the future. I also feel you should stay positive in hopes they might be hired back on later on. Don't dread on what they could of done, be grateful of what they have done.

I know not everyone is negative about Funcom/AO. There is a ton of positive people supporting the company. I just had to express my feelings on all the negativity that is floating around.

I think now, more then ever the people who have LOVE Anarchy Online and other Funcom games should really consider unfreezing there accounts! Show your support! Your part of the future of Funcom as well! If you love something hold on to it strong.

If you can't afford it play a froob! If you don't have time to play then it's easy stop being so negative. Everything changes, but if you want to see a bright future then show some positivity to the people who make the games one hell of a epic place to have fun. Share your thoughts, but realize your not the only person who plays. Everyone has a right to a opinion, be respectful <3

This might seem like the dark days, but I truly believe things will get bright again. After all they have gotten this far, I don't think they plan to give up anytime soon.

AO CON 2012 5 Weeks Away!

It's so crazy that AO Con is just around the corner. It seems like yesterday Sprkly posted info about the convention.
At the time, it seemed so far away, but now it seems like I don't have enough time to get ready!
Okay maybe I am over exaggerating, but I seriously can't wait to meet everyone. After meeting Kaile & Democe, it made me even more excited to meet all my other AO friends. Of course there are people I don't know going, and I am just as excited to meet them as well!
I can't lie I am a little nervous but I am hoping that goes away =^-^= I have to work on my tutu and arm warmers :) And my Shirt!
I got the Black shiny shorts and Stripped tights already! I also figured out what Sunglasses and Shoes I am going to wear :) My Real life social clothing for AO CON is really coming together.
And don't worry I will be taking lots of pics to share with everyone :)
On another note, tonight in game was super fun :) ended up doing a Merc's raid! Got some awesome phatz for my froob agent. Took a little over three hours to get the place holder mob to spawn. In the end it was well worth it :) had a wonderful time! I really think they should do away with the placeholders, I don't see any reason to have them.

I Met Kaile & Democe of RK1 !!!

June 27th 2012,
I left Chicago for Madison WI, To meet two of my awesome friends, from Anarchy Online. I can't lie I was hella nervous yet very excited. I have known both of them for many years in AO. Kaile & I always had it planned to meet up in real life. But we never got around to it, well since AO-CON is just around the corner we decided it was a great idea to meet up before it to get to know one another since we are traveling together.

First day, we went out to lunch :) and went swimming! Talked laughed and had a amazing fun time. We even made AO jokes about how Anarchy Online toons swim. =^-^=

Kaile was watching this cute little kitty! Sadly I didn't catch a picture of her kitty :( I will save it for next time! We didn't take many pics, I think it was the fact that we were having so much fun! We totally forgot lol. I plan to go back up before AO-CON =)
Kaile is a awesome cook! She made this yummy berry crumble was to die for!!! Words can't even explain how good it was!

Kaile & I went to the movies!!! We saw, Seeking A Friend For The End of The World The movie theater was so awesome! I have never been to a theater like this one before. The seats were hella comfy, lots of leg room. So pretty in the lobby! Was very modern, They had booze! I have never had a drink in a movie theater before. I had a yummy Pumpkin Spice Chai latte with rum.
The movie was very good, I recommend it to anyone who loves a good story. I don't want to give away to much. :P So I will leave it at,you should see it!




After the movies Kaile took me to this awesome chocolate place! I have never had chocolate that tasted this yummy in my life! It was so amazing, the place is called DB Infusion Chocolates =). They serve it on a piece of marble, the place is decorate in a very modern way. I loved the glass tables.



We did so much it's so hard to write about every detail :P lol She showed me The Secret World, I even decided to buy it! I wasn't even planning too! The last day we went out to this awesome Pancake restaurant. The server looked like Tom Green! It was so funny! I had the Coconut pancakes, it was totally Yum 5 starr's all the way. Then we went to the farmers market, and Kaile picked up some yummy Strawberries and Blue Berries. I bought some Champagne Jam and honey <3


Then I had to go home :( but I will be back! On the way out Democe Ninja a Dollar in my bag! lol It's his dollar! Guess this is more of a inside joke now lol :) but I am keeping it till next time :P So I can give it back!

Happy 11th Birthday Anarchy Online

Seems like yesterday I was celebrating my first Anarchy Online Birthday, Granted I wasn't around during the first years of AO, I started back in late 2006 and I missed the 2007 Birthday due to a RL situation. I am still happy to say that with every Anarchy Online Birthday brought many more memories to me.

It's kinda like New Years :) but AO style lol. You end up looking back at all the wonderful years you have had in the game, and most of all look forward to future.

2012 is looking to be one of the best years. I really am impressed by how well the staff for the Anarchy Online team have been working to update the game, and most of all make it a better place. I know I don't agree on everything they have done, but who agrees on everything? No one! Your gonna love and hate some of the updates. But you have to remember in a MMORPG your not the only player they are trying to make happy.

So give them a chance :) you might not be happy right now, but I am sure down the road they will impress you with something :)

With all this said I am looking forward to the GSP parties, and I am in love with the Carlita/Carlo social from the paid item shop

Summer is looking like it's going to be a ton of fun for me both in game and in real life. I am happy to say this week coming up, I am going to be visiting Kaile & Democe both from Anarchy Online RK1 in real life!

Then on top of that AO CON!!!!!

So I am doing my daily on my froob agent now :) she is 131! And I got this daily I never gotten before, It's the daily called "Famous Last Words"

You run around Home, looking for pages from a book! There is one page that says

Phil and the Gofles page 1321 Quality level: SPECIAL Description: 1 tbsp. Milk

1 tsp. Vanilla

1 egg

Three cp. Brown Sugar

1/2 tsp. Salt

1/3rd cp. Butter

A pinch of Nutmeg

Cream together egg, sugar, salt, butter, milk and vanilla, beating thoroughly.

Line your tart tins with pastry shells, filling slightly more than half-way. Bake at 375 degrees for 30 minutes.

Epic Panda Raid!

Oh boy we had one hell of a crazy night!!! a 45 minute beast fight!!! Talk about wtf epic pwnage! It was insane! Breath taking!!!!! So many ADDS! Ncu Wipes! Shields! 4th 220!

Last night was final ding of my Crat "Lucky"
Was a pretty epic adventure unlike any of my other
dings :) I dinged on a ADO HECK!!!!! =^-^=

I am looking forward to getting her up to gear, and ofc
pulling plenty of inf missions to complete her research.
Hoping to get a few friends to 220 as well as I accomplish
the LE 70 ding!

So the question most people have asked me since I started to get
closer and closer to the final ding of 220, What toon is going to
220 next? Well!!!!!!!!! I have given this much thought
and I have decided to lvl up a MP named Luckyducky for my next
220 most likely wont be 220 anytime soon but it's in the works :)

I really have enjoyed pet professions, come to think about it
I laugh every time there once was a time I hated it lol. Now
I can't get enough :)
